I think about this all the time. That even if the time comes when my husband starts earning a lot more, I still don't see myself wearing clothes worth more than a thousand dollars. A few hundreds maybe, but NOT thousands. I think that's just too much for clothes.
I am not the biggest fan of bazaars and Greenhills but I also do not find buying majorly expensive clothes justifiable. Yes, I go to bazaars and I even force myself to buy a shirt or two. Note on the word, force. But I can never seem to hand my money to the seller.
While it MIGHT be true that they are overruns or "brought in by FAs", I don't believe in those. To me, they are all fakes.
All those AEs, A&F, GAPs, OLD NAVYs, ROXYs, RIP CURLs, BILLABONGs found in those areas. It's just too much. I see them everywhere, I wanna rest my eyes. :p
Aaaanyway...
While I don't see myself wearing clothes more than Php 50,000 except if its a very special gown, I love looking at really expensive clothes. I just like being the know with the current trends. And appreciating the design. I even have a Flickr folder for all the clothes I love.
